The purpose of this chapter is to help readers to understand what a safari is and to provide a sneak preview of the various safari activities available in Zimbabwe. Safari refers to almost any activity which a traveller feels like doing. Such activities may include canoeing, rafting, kayaking, or even travelling about in a car or coach while viewing nature, animals, or birds.Therefore, it follows that a safari can take place anywhere.
