Ewanrigg Botanical Gardens - Harare Metropolitan Province

Location: 40 km north of Harare

Getting there: Board the morning bus to Shamva from Mbare Musika bus terminus. Alternatively, hitch along the Mutoko road, and drop off at the Shamva turnoff. Hitch for transport going towards Shamva, and drop off 20 km later. It may be better to just hire a car.   >>read more

La Rochelle Gardens

Location: It is located somewhere in the Imbeza valley, north of Mutare.

Main attractions: The place has very beautiful gardens containing large varieties of plants imported from all over the world. There are various insect types which nestle around the lovely, still ponds in the gardens.
